Aggapaṇḍita untranslated

Aggapaṇḍita. A native of Burma and author of the Lokuppattipakaraṇa, written at Pagan in the thirteenth century (Gv.64, 67). The Piṭakatthamain calls the work Lokuppattipakāsanī (Bode, 16, n.3).

The Sāsanavaṁsa (74) speaks of three monks by the name of Aggapaṇḍita: Mahā Aggapaṇḍita (evidently our author), Dutiya Aggapaṇḍita (his saddhivihārika), and Tatiya Aggapaṇḍita (his nephew), all of Arimaddanapura and all famed for their learning.
