Ānisutta draft
Ānisutta. Like the Ānaka drum of the Dasārahas, in which the drumhead vanished, leaving only the framework of pegs, even so is it with the Suttantas of the Tathāgata which are deep in meaning. They lie neglected and forgotten while men will turn their attention to the Suttantas of poets and the utterances of disciples, full of words; these they will learn and master instead of the Buddha’s own teachings. Ānisutta. Giống như chiếc trống Ānaka của người Dasārahas, trong đó mặt trống đã mòn đi, chỉ còn lại bộ khung đinh, cũng vậy là số phận của những bài Suttanta thâm sâu ý nghĩa của Tathāgata. Chúng bị xao nhãng và quên lãng, trong khi người ta sẽ chú ý đến các Suttanta của các thi nhân và lời của các đệ tử, đầy ắp ngôn từ; những bài đó họ sẽ học thuộc và thông thạo thay vì giáo pháp của chính Đức Phật.
