Maṇibhaddavattikā untranslated
Maṇibhaddavattikā. A class of ascetics and recluses who, perhaps, worshipped Maṇibhadda (q.v.). (MNid.89.) (In the Mahā Bhārata, Maṇibhadda is mentioned among the yakṣas in Kuvera’s palace (ii.10, 397). He is the tutelary deity of travellers and caravans (iii.65, 2553).) The Maṇibhaddā are mentioned in the Milindapañha (p.191) together with tumblers, jugglers, actors, etc.
