Manoharī untranslated
Manoharī. A king of Thaton who later became a vassal of Anorata of Burma. It is said that flames issued from his mouth when he spoke, till Anorata made him eat food taken from a holy shrine. Manoharī, confounded by the loss of his power, sold a gem and erected two great images of the Buddha (Sās.64; Bode, 13, 14, 15).
