Sattarasavaggiyā, Sattarasavaggiyas. A group of 17 monks in the Buddha’s time, who seem to have incurred the enmity of the Chabbaggīyas. The latter turned them out of a vihāra as soon as they had prepared it, and were violent towards them. Vin.ii.166; cf, Dhp­a.iii.48f.
