Valāhakāyikādevā. A class of deities, spirits of the skies, divided into Uṇhavalāhakā (cloud spirits of heat), Sītavalāhakā (cloud spirits of cold), Abbhavalāhakā (cloud spirits of air), Vātavalāhakā (cloud spirits of wind), Vassavalāhakā (cloud spirits of rain). The changes of weather are due to these spirits. SN.iii.254f.
