Asanisutta. What is the falling of a thunderbolt compared with the danger for a learner (sekha) arising from gains, favours and flattery? (SN.ii.229).
The Commentary explains that a thunderbolt destroys one life-span only, while gains, etc., bring a man to infinitely prolonged misery. SNa.ii.154.
Asanisutta. Sự rơi xuống của một tia sét có đáng gì so với mối nguy cho một bậc hữu học (sekha) phát sinh từ lợi dưỡng, ân huệ và lời nịnh hót? (SN.ii.229).
Chú giải giải thích rằng một tia sét chỉ hủy diệt một đời sống, trong khi lợi dưỡng, v.v., đưa một người đến khổ đau kéo dài vô hạn. SNa.ii.154.
