Gaṅgāsiripura. The Pāli name for the town of Gampola in Ceylon (Cv.xxxxvi.18). In it was an ancient vihāra, the Nigamaggāmapāsāda (Cv.lxxxviii.48). Bhuvanekabāhu IV. made it his capital. Cv.xc.107.
