Maṇi-upaṭṭhāna. One of the places appointed by King Bhātika for the dispensing of hospitality to the monks of Ceylon. (Mhv.xxxiv.65; the Mhv­ṭ. (633) calls it Maṇi-upaṭṭhāna pāsāda.)
