Pubbajira untranslated

Pubbajira, (v.l. Pubbavicira, Pubbavijjhana). A village of the Vajjians which was the constant dwelling place of Channa. The people there were blamed for his suicide (MN.iii.260). The village seems to have been also called Pubbavijjhana. SN.iv.59.
