Telakāni Thera untranslated

Telakāni Thera. An Arahant. He was a Brahmin of Sāvatthī, older than the Buddha. Having become a wandering recluse he went about questioning recluses and Brahmins, but not finding satisfaction.

One day he heard the Buddha preach, entered the Saṅgha and became an Arahant (Thag.747-68; Thag­a.ii.24ff).
