Telakāni Thera draft
Telakāni Thera. An Arahant. He was a Brahmin of Sāvatthī, older than the Buddha. Having become a wandering recluse he went about questioning recluses and Brahmins, but not finding satisfaction.
One day he heard the Buddha preach, entered the Saṅgha and became an Arahant (Thag.747-68; Thaga.ii.24ff).
Telakāni Thera. Một bậc Arahant. Ông là một Bà-la-môn ở Sāvatthī, lớn tuổi hơn Đức Phật. Sau khi trở thành một sa-môn du sĩ, ông đã đi khắp nơi chất vấn các sa-môn và Bà-la-môn, nhưng không tìm thấy sự thỏa mãn.
