Thambāropaka Thera untranslated

Thambāropaka Thera. An Arahant.

In the past he set up a flagstaff over the cetiya of Dhammadassī Buddha and, climbing to the top of it, decked it with jasmine flowers. Ninety-four kappas ago he became king sixteen times, under the name of Thūpasikha (Ap.i.171).

He is probably identical with Paripuṇṇaka Thera. Thag­a.i.190.
