Kandalīpupphiya Thera. v.l. Kadalī Thera. An Arahant. Ninety-four kappas ago he was a farmer on the banks of the Sindhū, and seeing Siddhattha Buddha wrapt in meditation, offered him seven kandalī-flowers and paid him homage (Ap.i.257).
