Puṇḍarīkasutta. A monk, staying in a forest tract in Kosala, once entered a lotus pool and inhaled the scent of a lotus. The Deva of the forest, desirous of his welfare, called him “scent thief” and engaged him in conversation, whereby he was greatly agitated. SN.i.204f.
Puṇḍarīkasutta. Một vị tỳ-kheo, đang lưu trú trong một khu rừng ở Kosala, có lần đã bước vào một hồ sen và hít lấy hương thơm của một bông hoa sen. Vị thiên nhân (Deva) của khu rừng, với mong muốn mang lại lợi ích cho ông, đã gọi ông là “kẻ trộm hương” và bắt chuyện với ông, do đó ông vô cùng hoảng sợ. SN.i.204f.
