Satipaṭṭhānasutta untranslated

Satipaṭṭhānasutta 01. The tenth Sutta of the Majjhimanikāya. It is identical with the Mahā Satipaṭṭhānasutta of the Dīghanikāya, except that towards the end the Dīgha Sutta interpolates paragraphs explaining in detail the Four Noble Truths. These, in the Majjhima, form part of a separate Sutta, the Saccavibhaṅgasutta.

Satipaṭṭhānasutta 02. A monk who is mindful regarding the rise and fall of things sees nothing attractive in the body, is conscious of the repulsiveness of food, has distaste for the world, and perceives impermanence in the “Compounded” such a one becomes either an Arahant in this life or an Anāgāmī. AN.iii.142.

Satipaṭṭhānasutta 03. The four satipaṭṭhānas form the path that goes to the “Uncompounded.” SN.iv.360.

Satipaṭṭhānasutta 04. A monk who abides, contemplating body, etc., follows the path to the “Uncompounded.” SN.iv.363.
