Tapokammañca Sutta. As the Buddha sits under the Ajapālanigrodha tree, soon after the Awakening, rejoicing in freedom from toil, Māra approaches and tells him that his purity is but a delusion. The Buddha rebukes him and proves him to be wrong. SN.i.103.
