Upekhāsutta 01. Ānanda says that Sāriputta’s senses are clean and his face translucent. How has he spent the day? Sāriputta answers that he has been in the fourth jhāna, wherein is neither pleasure nor pain but pure equanimity. SN.iii.237.

Upekhāsutta 01. Ānanda nói rằng các căn của Sāriputta thì trong sạch và khuôn mặt của ngài ấy thì trong sáng. Ngài ấy đã trải qua ngày hôm nay như thế nào? Sāriputta trả lời rằng ngài ấy đã an trú trong jhāna thứ tư, trong đó không có niềm vui hay nỗi đau mà là sự xả thuần tịnh. SN.iii.237.
