Vatapadasutta draft
Vatapadasutta or Devāsutta. The Buddha tells the monks of seven rules of conduct, the observance of which won for Sakka his celestial sovereignty. There are the maintenance of parents, reverence for the head of the family, the use of gentle language, avoidance of slander, delight in renunciation, generosity and amiability, the speaking of truth and avoidance of anger. SN.i.228.
Vatapadasutta hay Devāsutta. Đức Phật kể cho các tu sĩ về bảy quy tắc hành xử, việc thọ trì chúng đã mang lại cho Sakka chủ quyền thiên giới của ông. Đó là sự phụng dưỡng cha mẹ, sự kính trọng đối với người đứng đầu gia đình, việc sử dụng những lời lẽ ôn hòa, tránh xa sự vu khống, vui thích trong sự buông bỏ, hào phóng và nhã nhặn, nói lời chân thật và tránh xa sự tức giận.
