Āḷigāma. A stronghold in the Āḷisāra district on the banks of the modern Ambaṅgaṅga. Here Parakkamabāhu’s forces fought a decisive battle with those of Gajabāhu. Cv.lxx.113ff, and Geiger’s note thereon in the Cv.Trs.i.296, n.4.
