Āḷisāra 01. A district in Ceylon, now Elahera in the Matale district, north-east of Nālanda on the Ambaṅgaṅga. Once the whole district was given over by Vijayabāhu for the support of the monks of Pulatthipura (Cv.lx.14, and Geiger’s note thereon in the Cv.Trs.i.215, n.6). Later the district was the scene of several fights between the forces of Gajabāhu and Parakkamabāhu I. The conquest of Āḷisāra enabled Parakkamabāhu to capture Pulatthipura.
Āḷisāra 01. Một địa hạt ở Ceylon, ngày nay là Elahera thuộc địa hạt Matale, về phía đông bắc của Nālanda trên sông Ambaṅgaṅga. Một thời, toàn bộ địa hạt này đã được Vijayabāhu hiến cúng để hộ độ cho các tỳ-kheo ở Pulatthipura (Cv.lx.14, và chú thích của Geiger về vấn đề này trong Cv.Trs.i.215, n.6). Āḷisāra 02. A canal in Ceylon, probably leading from the Ambaṅgaṅga. King Vasabha gave a share of the water of the canal to the Mucelavihāra in Tissavaḍḍhamānaka. Mhv.xxxv.84.
Āḷisāra 02. Một con kênh ở Ceylon, có lẽ dẫn nước từ sông Ambaṅgaṅga. Vua Vasabha đã chia một phần nguồn nước của con kênh này cho tu viện Mucelavihāra ở Tissavaḍḍhamānaka. Mhv.xxxv.84.
