Bhattasūpagāma. A village in Rohaṇa, where a great battle was fought between the forces of Parakkamabāhu I. and the rebels who wished to take possession of the Buddha’s Tooth Relic and Alms Bowl. Parakkama’s forces were victorious. Cv.lxxiv.135.
