Duverasutta untranslated
Duverasutta or Anāthapiṇḍikasutta. Anāthapiṇḍika visits the Buddha, who tells him of the five guilty fears – that begotten
- by killing,
- by stealing,
- by wrong indulgence of sensual lust,
- by evil speaking, and
- by the drinking of intoxicants
freedom from which, together with possession of the Noble Insight, enables a man to say that he is destined for Awakening. SN.v.387f.
