Jambāvatī untranslated

Jambāvatī. A caṇḍālī, mother of King Sivi and wife of Vāsudeva of the Kaṇhāyanagotta. Vāsudeva saw her on his way to the park from Dvāravatī, and, in spite of her birth, married her and made her his chief queen. Ja.vi.421.
