Kassapasuttā untranslated

Kassapasuttā 01. Two Suttas containing an account of the visit paid to the Buddha by Kassapa, the Devaputta (q.v.). SN.i.46f.

Kassapasutta 02. Contains the thoughts that came to Kassapa Buddha, before his Awakening, on the nature of becoming, of cessation, etc. (SN.ii.9; cf. DN.ii.30f). The same thoughts are also attributed to the other Buddhas, from Vipassī downwards. For details see Gotamasutta.
