Muṭṭhipupphiya Thera untranslated
Muṭṭhipupphiya Thera. An Arahant. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha he was a garland-maker, named Sudassana, and offered the Buddha a handful of jasmine flowers. Thirty-six kappas ago he became king sixteen times under the name of Devuttara (Ap.i.142). He is evidently identical with Añjanavaniya. Thaga.i.128.
