Paccāgamanīya Thera untranslated
Paccāgamanīya Thera. An Arahant. In the time of Vipassī Buddha he was a cakkavāka dwelling on the banks of the river Sindhu. One day, seeing the Buddha travelling through the air, the bird offered him a sāla flower in its beak.
Seventeen kappas ago he was king eighteen times under the name of Sucārudassana (Ap.i.113).
He is probably identical with Puṇṇamāsa Thera. Thaga.i.53f.
