Pahārādasutta draft
Pahārādasutta. Preached at the Naḷerupucimandamūla in Verañjā where Pahārāda (q.v.) visited the Buddha. In answer to a question, Pahārāda tells the Buddha that there are eight wonderful characteristics of the ocean, on account of which Asuras delight in it. The Buddha tells him of eight similar qualities in his own teaching and discipline, wherefore monks find joy in them. AN.iv.197ff.
Pahārādasutta. Được thuyết giảng tại Naḷerupucimandamūla ở Verañjā nơi Pahārāda (q.v.) viếng thăm Đức Phật. Để trả lời một câu hỏi, Pahārāda thưa với Đức Phật rằng có tám đặc tính kỳ diệu của đại dương, nhờ đó mà các Asura thích thú với nó. Đức Phật nói cho ông nghe tám đặc tính tương tự trong giáo pháp và giới luật của Ngài, nhờ đó mà các tỳ-kheo tìm thấy niềm vui trong đó. AN.iv.197ff.
