Samajīvīsutta. The Buddha visits the house of Nakulapitā, while staying in the Bhesakalāvana on Suṁsumāragiri. Both Nakulapitā and his wife declare their faithfulness to each other and their desire to be husband and wife in subsequent births. That, says the Buddha, is possible if they are matched in faith, virtue, generosity and wisdom. AN.ii.61f.
