Tipadumiya Thera. An Arahant. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha he was garland-maker to the king, and, seeing the Buddha, while on his way to the palace, he threw up into the air three lotuses, which formed a canopy over the Buddha.
Tipadumiya was reborn as a Deva, and owned a palace called Mahā Vitthārika, which was three hundred leagues high. Ap.i.124ff.
Tipadumiya Thera. Một vị Arahant. Vào thời của Padumuttara Buddha, ngài là người làm vòng hoa cho nhà vua, và, khi nhìn thấy Đức Phật trong lúc đang trên đường đến cung điện, ngài đã tung ba bông hoa sen lên không trung, những bông hoa này tạo thành một tán che trên đầu Đức Phật.
