Veḷudvāra draft
Veḷudvāra. A Brahmin village of the Kosalans where the Buddha once stayed and preached the Veḷudvāreyyasutta (SN.v.352). Buddhaghosa says that the place was so-called owing to the tradition of the presence of a bamboo thicket at the entrance to the village (SNa.iii.217).
Veḷudvāra. Một ngôi làng của những người Bà-la-môn thuộc dân Kosala, nơi Đức Phật từng lưu lại và thuyết giảng Veḷudvāreyyasutta (SN.v.352). Buddhaghosa nói rằng địa danh này được gọi như vậy là do truyền thuyết về sự hiện diện của một bụi tre ở lối vào làng (SNa.iii.217).
