Anura. A general of the Vaṅga king’s army, maternal cousin of Sīhabāhu, father of Vijaya. When Sīhabāhu left the lion’s den with his mother and sister they came across Anura who was ruling the border country. Later Anura married Sīhabāhu’s mother. Mv.vi.16-20; Mhvṭ.246.
