Cittalatāvana 01. A pleasance, five hundred leagues in extent, in Tāvatiṁsa. It came into being through the good deeds performed by Māgha’s wife, Cittā (Dhpa.i.271-5; Ja.i.202). It is said (Vv-a.94) that the place was so-called not only because of its association with Cittā, but also because there grew in it various creepers bearing many coloured flowers. In the pleasaunce is born the Āsāvatī creeper which blossoms only once in a thousand years. Thaga.i.365; Ja.iii.250.

Cittalatāvana 01. Một hoa viên, rộng năm trăm do-tuần, ở Tāvatiṁsa. Nó xuất hiện nhờ vào những việc thiện do vợ của Māgha là Cittā thực hiện (Dhpa.i.271-5; Ja.i.202). Người ta nói (Vv-a.94) rằng nơi này được gọi như vậy không chỉ vì sự liên hệ của nó với Cittā, mà còn vì ở đó mọc lên nhiều loại dây leo nở ra những bông hoa nhiều màu sắc. Trong hoa viên này có sinh ra loài dây leo Āsāvatī chỉ nở hoa một nghìn năm một lần. Thaga.i.365; Ja.iii.250.
