Mahā Panāda 01. Son of Suruci and king of Mithilā. He owned a palace one hundred storeys high, all of emerald; it was one thousand bow-shots (twenty-five leagues) high and sixteen broad and held six thousand musicians. Mahā Panāda was a previous birth of Bhaddaji. See the Mahā Panādajātaka and also Kosalā. See also Saṅkha (3).
