03. Saṅkha 03 draft
Saṅkha 03. A future king, who will be the Cakkavatti of Ketumatī at the time of the appearance of Metteyya Buddha in the world. He will raise up again the palace of King Mahā Panāda and live there. But later he will give it to the Saṅgha and become an Arahant. DN.iii.75f.; Anāg. p. 42 (vs. 10).
According to the Commentary (DNa.iii.856), he was one of two cane workers (naḷakārā), father and son, who made a hut for a Pacceka Buddha. After death, both were born in heaven. The son became Mahā Panāda, and, later, Bhaddaji. The father is in the Deva world and will be reborn as Saṅkha. Mahā Panāda’s palace still remains un-destroyed, ready for his use.
Saṅkha 03. Một vị vua trong tương lai, người sẽ là Cakkavatti (Chuyển luân vương) của Ketumatī vào thời điểm sự xuất hiện của Metteyya Buddha trên thế gian. Ông sẽ nâng lên một lần nữa cung điện của Vua Mahā Panāda và sống ở đó. Nhưng sau này ông sẽ cúng dường nó cho Tăng đoàn và trở thành một bậc Arahant. DN.iii.75f.; Anāg. p. 42 (vs. 10).

Saṅkha 07. A general of Kittisirimegha; he lived in Badalatthalī. The king entrusted him with the celebrations in connection with the upanayana ceremony of Parakkamabāhu (afterwards Parakkamabāhu I.). When Parakkamabāhu returned to Badalatthalī in his tour of preparation, Saṅkha welcomed him and paid him all honour. But Parakkamabāhu proved treacherous and had him slain. Saṅkha 07. Một vị tướng của Kittisirimegha; ông sống ở Badalatthalī. Nhà vua đã giao phó cho ông các lễ kỷ niệm liên quan đến nghi lễ upanayana (lễ thụ pháp) của Parakkamabāhu (sau này là Parakkamabāhu I.). Saṅkha 08. A Sinhalese general who maintained a stronghold in Gaṅgādoṇi in the Maṇimekhala district, while Māgha ruled in the capital. Cv.lxxxi.7f.
