Manāpadāyisutta draft
Manāpadāyisutta. Ugga, a householder of Vesālī, having heard from the Buddha that the giver of good things (manāpadāyī) gains the good, invites the Buddha to his house and gives him various things which he himself is very fond of – gruel from sal flowers, flesh of pigs with jujube-fruit, oily tube-like vegetables, rice with curries and condiments, muslin from Benares and a sandalwood plank (in place of a luxurious couch, which, Ugga knew, the Buddha could not accept). Out of compassion for Ugga, the Buddha accepted these gifts and blessed him. Later, Ugga died and was reborn in a mind-born world (manomayakāya). He visited the Buddha at Jetavana and told him that his hopes had been realized. (AN.iii.49f.)
Manāpadāyisutta. Ugga, một cư sĩ ở Vesālī, sau khi nghe Đức Phật dạy rằng người cho những thứ tốt lành (manāpadāyī) sẽ nhận được điều tốt lành, đã mời Đức Phật đến nhà và dâng cúng nhiều thứ mà chính ông rất ưa thích — cháo từ hoa sal, thịt heo với quả táo gai, rau ống có dầu, cơm cùng canh và gia vị, lụa muslin từ Benares và một tấm ván gỗ đàn hương (thay cho chiếc giường xa xỉ mà, theo Ugga hiểu, Đức Phật không thể nhận). Vì lòng từ bi đối với Ugga, Đức Phật đã nhận những phẩm vật này và chúc phúc cho ông. Về sau, Ugga mất và được tái sinh vào một thế giới do tâm tạo (manomayakāya).
