Tikaṇikārapupphiya Thera untranslated

Tikaṇikārapupphiya Thera. An Arahant. He was once a vijjādhara, and, having seen Sumedha Buddha flying through the air, offered him three flowers which remained suspended above the Buddha’s head.

He was reborn as a Deva in a palace in Tāvatiṁsa called Kaṇikāra (Ap.ii.441ff).

He is probably identical with Uttara Thera. Thag­a.i.241.
