Daṇḍakārañña draft
Daṇḍakārañña. The forest which overgrew Kaliṅga when it was laid waste through the wickedness of King Daṇḍakī (q.v.) (MN.i.378; Mil.130).
It was on the banks of the Godhāvarī and, with the Viñjhāṭavi, separated the Majjhimadesa from the Dakkhiṇāpatha. It probably comprised all the forests from Bundelkhand to the river Krishna.
Daṇḍakārañña. Khu rừng đã mọc phủ kín Kaliṅga khi vương quốc này bị tàn phá vì sự tàn ác của vua Daṇḍakī (q.v.) (MN.i.378; Mil.130).
