Kaliṅgarasutta untranslated

Kaliṅgarasutta. Preached at the Kūṭāgārasālā in Vesālī. As long as the Licchavīs sleep on straw (kaliṅgara) so long will they be able to protect themselves from their enemy, Ajātasattu; when they begin to sleep on soft couches they will suffer defeat.
