Dīghagāmaṇī untranslated

Dīghagāmaṇī. A Sākiyan prince, son of Dīghāyu and, therefore, cousin of Ummādacittā. Having heard of Cittā, he went to Upatissagāma and took service at the court of Paṇḍuvāsudeva.

There Cittā saw him and fell in love with him and he visited her by night. When a child was conceived Citta was given to him in marriage.

This child was Paṇḍukābhaya. Citta and Kāḷavela were servants of Dīghagāmaṇī. Mhv.ix.13ff; Dpv.x.8f.
