Ekadaṁsaniya Thera untranslated

Ekadaṁsaniya Thera. An Arahant. In the time of Atthadassī Buddha, he was named Nārada Kesava. He heard the Buddha preach and, gladdened by the sermon, did him homage.

Seventeen kappas ago he became a king under the name of Amittatāpana (v.l. Amittavāsana?) (Ap.i.168f).

He is probably identical with Paviṭṭha Thera. Thaga.i.185.
