Verocana 01. See Veroca.

Verocana 02. A Nāga king, who lived in the Ganges. When Nārada Buddha converted the Nāga Mahā Doṇa, Verocana invited the Buddha to a palace which he had built on the river and entertained him and the monks with great ceremony. Eighty thousand men entered the Saṅgha after having heard the Buddha return thanks on this occasion. Bv.x.12; Bv­a.154f.

Verocana 03. A jewel, given to Kusa by Sakka when the former went out to fight against the seven kings who claimed Pabhāvatī’s hand. Ja.v.310, 311.
