02. Verocana 02 draft

Verocana 02. A Nāga king, who lived in the Ganges. When Nārada Buddha converted the Nāga Mahā Doṇa, Verocana invited the Buddha to a palace which he had built on the river and entertained him and the monks with great ceremony. Eighty thousand men entered the Saṅgha after having heard the Buddha return thanks on this occasion. Bv.x.12; Bv­a.154f.

Verocana 02. Một vị vua Nāga, sống ở sông Ganges. Khi Nārada Buddha hóa độ cho Nāga Mahā Doṇa, Verocana đã mời Đức Phật đến một cung điện mà ông đã xây dựng trên sông và thết đãi ngài cùng các tỳ-kheo bằng một buổi lễ lớn.
