Bhogagāmanagara untranslated
Bhogagāmanagara. A village in the Vajjī country, where Gotama Buddha stayed on his last journey, in the Ānanda cetiya, and where he preached a sermon on the four Mahā Padesā (the “Great Authorities”) (DN.ii.124f.; AN.ii.167ff). From Bhoga he went on to Pāvā (DN.ii.126).
Bhoga was one of the places passed by Bāvari’s pupils on their way to Rājagaha. It lay between Pāvā and Vesālī. Snp.vs.1013.
